The December 2024 incident defines the class
The YES Communities data-incident notice lists November 5, 2026 for claims. The case concerns a network incident during December 9 through 11, 2024 involving private information. Eligibility depends on the settlement definition and incident notice, not simply living in a manufactured-home community.
Class members may claim qualifying documented losses up to $2,500 and response time at $20 per hour for up to four hours. The $50 alternative requires no loss documentation but replaces both those categories. It is not an extra $50 stacked on top of a $2,580 maximum.
A claim and a release are separate choices
Three years of one-bureau credit monitoring may accompany a cash choice. The notice gives October 21 for exclusions and objections and November 20 for the final hearing. Those dates have different purposes; a later cash deadline does not extend the earlier rights choices.
Online filing or a mailed postmark must meet November 5. Benefits depend on approval and valid claims, and YES Communities denies liability. The primary notice was inspected through a public copy; use its administrator instructions and preserve filing confirmation rather than send personal information to a secondary news site.
