The certified class bought directly from producers
The new Turkey Antitrust Litigation notice sets October 30, 2026 for claims involving specified direct-purchaser settlement proceeds. Even businesses that filed a claim in an earlier round must submit another eligible claim. The certified product definition and new settlement process are not identical to the prior forms.
The certified class directly purchased qualifying fresh or frozen uncooked turkey breast, ground turkey or whole birds from defendants in the United States between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2016. Government entities and other stated exclusions do not qualify. Retail grocery shoppers are not this direct-purchaser class.
An earlier claim does not carry into this process
The notice describes cash settlements involving Butterball, Hormel and Jennie-O, Prestage and House of Raeford, with distribution also covering Cooper Farms and Farbest proceeds. Other settlements provide conduct or litigation relief rather than adding cash. Do not treat every settling defendant as a contributor to a consumer refund fund.
The exclusion period has already passed and is not reopened by this notice. October 30 also concerns objections, under the stated postmark or receipt rules. Payment depends on approval and resolved appeals. Use the administrator purchase calculation and actual claim form; an earlier filing or a purchase from a retail store is not enough.
