Not every totaled vehicle defines the class

The Tennessee Farmers Mutual total-loss settlement lists October 19, 2026 to elect electronic payment. The official website says remaining eligible class members receive checks automatically after final approval if they do not elect a different delivery method.

The class concerns first-party automobile total-loss claims September 26, 2017 through April 7, 2026 where an Autosource report applied a Typical Negotiation Adjustment to at least one comparable vehicle. A totaled vehicle or a policy alone is not sufficient.

Doing nothing selects a mailed check

Payments are proportional shares of the net settlement fund. The electronic-election deadline changes delivery, not underlying entitlement. Do not describe October 19 as a new opportunity to file any vehicle underpayment complaint.

Exclusion and objections had July 22 deadlines, and the website lists an August 14 hearing. This check did not independently establish that hearing outcome or a distribution date. The insurer denies wrongdoing. Preserve the personalized notice and confirm delivery details with the administrator instead of assuming automatic means money has already arrived.
