Match the flavor and carton date
Stewart's Shops recalled two half-gallon ice-cream flavors October 2 because of potential metal contamination. The FDA-posted company notice identifies Heavenly Medley and Vanilla-Chocolate-Strawberry. A matching brand alone does not mean every flavor or package size is recalled.
The notice lists Heavenly Medley with best-by February 10, 2027 and UPC 0 82086 44371 1, and Vanilla-Chocolate-Strawberry with best-by February 11, 2027 and UPC 0 82086 44377 3. These products were sold at Stewart's locations in New York, Vermont and New Hampshire from July 17 through October 2, 2026.
Do not eat the recalled product
The company says a consumer found a metal object in a carton, prompting the recall. No injuries or illnesses were reported at the time of the notice. That absence is not a reason to continue eating a recalled carton; the instruction is not to consume it.
Return the affected product to any Stewart's Shops location for a full refund. Use the official notice and product photos to identify the carton; our featured illustration is not an exact packaging image. The remedy is a retailer return, not a settlement claim asking for medical records or bank details.
