The Washington application period defines the group

The Scribd Washington job-posting settlement lists October 12, 2026 for exclusion, objections and desired payment-detail updates. Qualifying applications span January 1, 2023 through August 14, 2026 and concern postings alleged to omit required pay or benefit disclosures.

The proposed common fund is $3 million. The notice estimates $219.27 for a participating member and says members who do not exclude themselves receive equal shares of the net class fund automatically. It is not a rebate for a Scribd subscription.

No claim form does not mean no address work

A claim form is not required, but the administrator needs a valid current address and should be told of later changes. The notice characterizes payments as non-wage damages reported on a 1099. That is not advice about any individual tax return.

Approval is scheduled January 15, 2027 and distributions wait for approval and review. Payment instruments expire 180 days after issuance under the notice. Scribd denies wrongdoing. Use the personalized notice and administrator rather than assume any October deadline is a cash-claim requirement.
