The case is about benefit timing

A proposed Progressive County Mutual settlement concerns the timing of personal injury protection benefits under Texas auto policies. The live administrator says eligible members must submit a claim online by January 19, 2027. Owning a Progressive policy alone is not the eligibility test.

The claims concern medical bills and whether specified benefit line items were handled beyond the relevant deadlines. The agreement describes groups involving more than 30 days or more than 15 business days, with qualifying original explanations of benefits in the covered period. Check the notice and bill-level definition rather than counting every old claim as late.

A formula determines the payment

Progressive denies wrongdoing and says it complied with its obligations. The court has not ruled on the merits. If approved, valid claims receive payments based on an objective damages calculation, not a guaranteed fixed refund of a premium or the full amount of a medical bill.

Exclusion and objection deadlines are November 12, 2026; the hearing is scheduled for December 17. Preserve explanations of benefits and any settlement notice and follow the official online claim route. An approaching claims process is not proof the settlement is final or that payment will arrive before the claim window closes.
