Distribution is underway, not a new claim window
The Oracle Katz-Lacabe privacy settlement administrator says payments began September 21, 2026 and should be completed by December 7. Its current update specifies $37.42 for each valid claimant. People who filed earlier should distinguish that distribution window from an invitation to submit a new claim.
The case website still lists the October 17, 2024 claim deadline. The underlying lawsuit concerns alleged collection and sale of personal information through Oracle advertising technologies; Oracle denies wrongdoing. It is separate from notices about a later data breach involving an Oracle product or customer.
Failed payments have a separate follow-up route
Ordinary payment-method changes are no longer available, the administrator says. However, a claimant whose original method fails will have an opportunity to select a different one. That does not mean every claimant can switch methods today or that a delayed email proves a payment has failed.
Monitor the contact channel used for the original claim and consult the actual case website for status. December 7 is the administrator expected completion date, not evidence that an individual payment has landed. We have not confirmed any particular person claim validity or payment receipt, and the old deadline should not be marketed as newly open.
