The class is narrower than every hospital employee

The MyMichigan Health retirement settlement lists October 28, 2026 for objections ahead of a November 18 hearing. The $1.9 million qualified fund concerns disputed management of its 403(b) Savings Plan. Defendants deny liability; the proposal is not an admission of pension misconduct.

The published class includes participants who used GoalMaker or directed any account portion to the Guaranteed Income Fund from March 18, 2019 through preliminary approval, plus eligible beneficiaries and alternate payees, excluding committee members. Employment at MyMichigan alone does not establish inclusion.

Former participants have a separate form deadline

Approved fees, costs, administration and representative awards reduce the net allocation. Former participants generally need not do anything to receive an allocated share by check, but those wanting a rollover must submit the rollover form postmarked on or before November 18 under the notice.

Current and former participants should follow their own notice category rather than assume the former-participant check route applies to everyone. Keep contact and plan records current and verify receiving-plan details for a rollover. The $1.9 million gross fund and hearing date are not a fixed individual payout or money already available.
