The affected class is tied to a particular incident
The Mullinax Ford of Central Florida data-settlement notice sets November 23, 2026 for cash claims. It identifies 4,038 United States citizens whose private information was allegedly compromised in an incident discovered February 2026. Buying a car at any dealership does not establish membership.
One option combines documented unreimbursed losses up to $3,000 with time addressing the incident at $25 per hour for up to three hours. Losses need third-party receipts, invoices or similar records and a qualifying connection to the incident. A maximum is not proof that every claimant incurred that amount.
The $50 option replaces loss-and-time claims
The alternative $50 payment is for members who do not claim documented losses or lost time. Two years of monitoring can be elected with either route. The notice therefore does not offer a guaranteed $3,075 plus $50 cash stack. Follow the actual form rather than adding every displayed benefit.
Exclusion and objection dates are November 9, with a December 8 final hearing. Cash benefits require a valid timely claim and final settlement approval. The settlement avoids continued litigation; it does not establish a finding that every affected person suffered identity theft or a promise of immediate payment.
