The Tennessee parking history matters

The Metropolis parking settlement website sets October 9, 2026 for electronic claims. Tennessee obtained $6.5 million in restitution following an investigation, and the court approved the agreement January 9. That is different from a still-proposed nationwide class action.

The eligibility conditions include a Tennessee Metropolis session from July 1, 2021 through January 6, 2026, a wrongful overcharge, ticket or boot, and no prior full refund for that session. Simply using a parking lot in Tennessee is not enough.

Electronic filing is the stated route

The notice claimant ID and access code can speed filing, but the state says eligible people may file without receiving an email and may need documents. Preserve receipts and enforcement charges rather than treating a received notice as proof of a specific award.

The attorney general June announcement expects payments in early 2027. The current deadline is a participation cutoff, not a promise payment arrives this week. Metropolis denies wrongdoing. Check the actual charge and any prior reimbursement before requesting restitution.
