Notice recipients define the affected class

The MCNA Dental data-settlement website lists October 19, 2026 for cash claims, exclusion and objections. The case concerns potential unauthorized access February 26 through March 7, 2023 involving MCNA, MCNA Insurance and Healthplex.

The class consists of living individuals sent a notice that their private information was potentially affected. For a minor, a parent or court-appointed legal guardian must submit the claim. Having dental insurance alone does not establish membership.

Automatic monitoring does not produce cash

Two years of medical-data monitoring is automatic without a claim form. Cash requires a valid documented out-of-pocket-loss claim, limited to $2,500 per person within a total $250,000 payment pool under the settlement limits. Monitoring is not an automatic cash award.

Online claims and mailing postmarks must meet October 19, while approval is scheduled November 16. Defendants deny wrongdoing and the court has not found liability. Keep the affected notice and supporting records and distinguish the individual loss cap from the smaller shared amount available across claimants.
