Check the class vehicle before the repair claim

Kia owners checking window-regulator settlement notices have two dates to distinguish. The administrator lists November 23, 2026 for claims and October 23 for exclusion or objection. A vehicle bearing the Kia name is not enough to establish eligibility.

The class includes people who own, lease, previously owned or previously leased a class vehicle. The website identifies certain 2016-2017 Kia Optima vehicles and all 2017 Kia Sportage vehicles. Because the Optima language is narrower than a full model-year group, owners should use the case vehicle instructions and retain their vehicle identification and repair records.

A claim and an opt-out do different jobs

The website directs readers to its benefits explanation before filing. We are not treating every window repair, every age of vehicle or every out-of-pocket amount as reimbursable. Read the benefit-specific conditions alongside your service invoice rather than assuming that a settlement announcement covers any bill.

Claims must be submitted online or postmarked by November 23. Filing binds a participant to the settlement terms and releases the covered legal claims. Exclusion is a separate choice with an earlier deadline. The final approval hearing is scheduled for January 7, 2027 and may change, so the case remains subject to the court process.
