The alternate amount is not a loss reimbursement
Hire Velocity settlement claims are due November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern online, or by that mailing postmark. The case concerns the February 2025 cybersecurity incident involving certain employee, contractor and client information. The company denies wrongdoing.
The administrator offers documented out-of-pocket losses arising from the incident up to $2,000, or an alternate $40 cash payment instead. The $40 choice needs no loss documentation, but the person must still be a settlement class member. Do not add the two amounts together as benefits available to one claimant.
Class membership still matters without receipts
Two years of credit monitoring may be claimed alongside either cash option. The monitoring package includes insurance and other services; its $1 million insurance limit is not a direct payment. Keep expense records for a documented-loss claim and follow the notice identification requirements.
Exclusion and objection are due November 16. The final approval hearing is scheduled December 15. The administrator says doing nothing yields no benefits while releasing the covered claims. Payment is subject to the case process, so the claim deadline should not be presented as a check-mailing date.
