The rights deadline arrives before the claim deadline

The Highlands Oncology data settlement sets October 7, 2026 for exclusion and objections, and October 22 for claims. The case concerns United States individuals whose information was compromised in the June 2025 incident. The dates concern different choices.

The cash options are qualifying documented identity-theft or fraud losses up to $4,250 or alternative $50 cash. The alternative replaces documented-loss payment. Three years of medical-data monitoring may also be requested.

Two cash choices have different proof rules

Losses need third-party proof and an incident connection within the listed June 2, 2025 through October 22, 2026 period. Personal notes may explain evidence but do not establish a valid loss claim alone. A monitoring insurance limit is not cash available to each patient.

Exclusions require timely postmark and objections require the court filing and copies specified in the FAQ. Approval is scheduled November 6. The company disputes the claims. Use the affected notice and administrator instructions rather than assuming a current oncology patient automatically qualifies.
