The new round is for people not already paid
The Federal Trade Commission announced October 6, 2026 that it is sending more than $100,000 to 6,205 GOAT customers who have not yet received payment. The sneaker and apparel marketplace had directly refunded more than $736,000 in 2025 under the settlement.
The case alleged failures to ship certain priority-processing orders as promised and to offer the required delay-or-refund choice. It also alleged the company denied full refunds for qualifying deficient products, offered partial payments or substituted store credit. These are the agency allegations, not a finding that every GOAT purchase qualifies.
Two payment methods have different deadlines
Most recipients receive a mailed check, which should be cashed within 90 days as stated on the instrument. Digital-payment recipients have 30 days to redeem. Those clocks concern redemption of an issued payment, not an open claim deadline for everyone who has ever used the marketplace.
Questions about an actual payment go to JND Legal Administration at the contact shown on the FTC page. The FTC says it never requires payment or account information to obtain a refund. Verify a purported message against the agency source before paying a fee, and do not mistake the total fund for an amount payable per customer.
