The mailed estimate depends on employment records

The FN Logistics wage settlement notice gives October 26, 2026 for challenging recorded workweeks or pay periods. The proposed $5.565 million gross settlement resolves disputed California wage and penalty claims in Bucio v. FN Logistics, Los Angeles Superior Court case 22STCV26948. Final approval is scheduled December 1.

The class covers hourly nonexempt employees and qualifying temporary workers at California locations from January 13, 2019 through December 31, 2024. The PAGA period begins October 2, 2021. The notice includes staffing-agency placements, so payroll through an agency is not automatically a reason to disregard it.

Class wages and PAGA penalties have different rules

People identified in records generally do not need a benefit claim to participate. But the individual allocation depends on credited workweeks and, for PAGA, pay periods. A worker disputing those figures must send the administrator a signed written challenge under the notice rules by October 26. Preserve wage statements and assignment records.

October 26 also governs class exclusions and objections. A person may opt out of the class portion but cannot opt out of PAGA. The public sample notice contains merge fields, not a usable personal award estimate. Fees and other approved deductions reduce the gross fund; no fixed paycheck or payment date is promised.
