Flo Privacy Claims Close October 15. The $59.5 Million Is a Shared Pool

Eligible historical app users need a valid claim. California subclass treatment differs, and final approval is still ahead.

Using the app today is not enough

The Flo privacy settlement administrator is reminding users of an October 15 claim deadline for $59.5 million in settlements. The class generally covers United States users who entered menstruation or pregnancy information into the app between November 1, 2016 and February 28, 2019.

California subclass eligibility also depends on using the app in California and living there during that period. Payment amounts depend on valid claim volume and subclass membership. The total fund is not a per-user award, and merely installing the app recently does not satisfy the historical class definition.

Claim and objection deadlines are different

Online claims must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 15, or mailed with a postmark by that date. Objections have a separate October 8 deadline. The administrator says the old class opt-out deadline has already passed; readers should not assume every listed legal option remains open.

A final-approval hearing is scheduled for October 29. Filing a claim does not mean money arrives immediately, and approval or appeals can affect distribution. Read the official class definition and form rather than sharing sensitive information through an unsolicited message claiming a guaranteed privacy payout. The fresh deadline reminder is useful because it identifies a concrete action for historical users, not a new benefit for everyone with a health app.
