The notice establishes the affected group

The proposed Finastra Technology data-breach settlement has a November 27 claim deadline. The live administrator describes an October 2024 cyberattack and a class identified through company records and breach notices. Having a bank account that uses financial technology is not enough to establish membership.

The $3.125 million fund pays approved costs and eligible benefits. Documented out-of-pocket losses attributed to the incident may qualify for up to $2,500, covering the specified October 31, 2024 through November 27, 2026 period. Third-party documentation matters, and expenses already reimbursed should not be claimed again.

The alternative payment depends on remaining funds

Instead of the documented-loss benefit, an eligible member may request a pro-rata cash payment from remaining funds. That is an alternative, not a second unrestricted award to add to the maximum loss reimbursement. The notice also describes one year of CyEx Financial Shield Complete services.

Exclusions and objections are due November 13, before the claim deadline; the hearing is scheduled for December 14. Finastra denies wrongdoing, and payments depend on approval and resolution of appeals. Keep the notice and actual loss evidence, follow the current claim instructions, and do not interpret the fund total or reimbursement ceiling as a guaranteed check.
