The class is not every clinic patient
Fairchild Medical Center’s pixel-tracking settlement lists November 2, 2026 for cash claims. The notice concerns California citizens whose private information was disclosed through Meta Pixel and related technologies without authorization. It estimates about 1,000 class members; every patient is not automatically included.
Eligible class members may claim a one-time $25 payment and enroll in a year of CyEx Privacy Shield Pro. Enrollment codes were sent by postcard, and people missing theirs can contact the administrator. A notice or clinic visit alone should not be mistaken for a completed cash claim.
Claims and exclusion have different closing dates
The ordinary exclusion and objection deadlines were September 28, before the cash window closes. The final hearing is scheduled October 15. The notice says an overruled objector will receive an additional opportunity to opt out, which is a specific procedure rather than a general extension for everyone.
Online claims or mailed postmarks must meet November 2 under the form rules. Payments require final approval and resolution of any appeals. The settlement is not a finding that every disclosure allegation was proved. Keep the postcard and confirmation and do not confuse privacy-service enrollment with filing for cash.
