Affected files define the class
The EY and Bank of America MOVEit settlement lists October 8, 2026 as the claim deadline. The case concerns unauthorized access to file-transfer software used by EY during May 27-31, 2023, potentially involving information supplied by Bank of America. It is not a payment for every bank customer.
Eligible living United States residents whose information was in affected files may request qualifying ordinary losses up to $2,500 and extraordinary losses up to $10,000, or an alternative $100 cash payment. The amounts are subject to proportional adjustment and the relevant proof requirements. Two years of identity-theft protection is a separate claim benefit.

The administrator warns mailed forms need a timely postmark and suggests extra processing time or the online route using the notice ID and PIN. Exclusion and objection dates have passed; final approval is scheduled October 15. The defendants deny wrongdoing, and filing is not a promise of payment on the deadline.
