Global Partners LP has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2026, showcasing a notable increase in net income and EBITDA. This performance is significant for the company as it reflects the effectiveness of its integrated liquid energy model, particularly in a challenging market environment.
On November 6, 2026, Global Partners LP (NYSE: GLP) released its third-quarter financial results, revealing a net income of $52.4 million, or $1.26 per diluted common limited partner unit. This marks a substantial increase from the $29.0 million, or $0.66 per diluted common limited partner unit, reported in the same quarter of 2025.
According to Eric Slifka, President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Partners, the results demonstrate the strength of their business model. He stated, “Our third quarter results demonstrate the strength of our integrated liquid energy model, with strong growth in both EBITDA and distributable cash flow year over year.”
Global Partners LP operates within the wholesale petroleum bulk stations and terminals industry, which has been facing pressures from fluctuating fuel prices and demand. Despite these challenges, the company reported EBITDA of $120.8 million for the third quarter, up from $97.1 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA was even higher, reaching $122.9 million compared to $98.8 million in Q3 2025.
In addition to strong earnings, Global Partners highlighted its focus on maintaining a robust capital structure. The company successfully redeemed its Series B preferred units in July and extended its credit facility to 2031, providing greater operational flexibility. Slifka emphasized, “With strong distribution coverage and low leverage, we are well positioned to invest in the business, return cash to unitholders, and pursue compelling opportunities with discipline.”
The financial results also indicated a distributable cash flow (DCF) of $70.1 million for the quarter, a significant increase from $53.0 million in the same period last year. Adjusted DCF was reported at $70.3 million, up from $53.3 million in Q3 2025.
Global Partners’ gross profit for the third quarter was $296.0 million, compared to $271.4 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The company’s combined product margin, which adjusts gross profit for depreciation allocated to cost of sales, was $329.1 million, an increase from $303.9 million a year ago.
Despite facing lower retail fuel volumes due to higher pump prices, Global Partners managed to maintain steady operations across its station network. The gasoline distribution and station operations segment reported a product margin of $210.6 million, down slightly from $218.9 million in Q3 2025. This decrease was attributed to lower fuel volume, with gasoline distribution margins dropping from $144.8 million to $136.8 million.
Conversely, the wholesale segment product margin saw a substantial increase, rising to $111.4 million from $78.0 million in the same period last year. This growth was primarily driven by favorable market conditions for gasoline and gasoline blendstocks, which saw margins increase from $61.5 million to $75.8 million.
Overall, Global Partners LP's Q3 2026 results highlight the company's ability to navigate a challenging market while continuing to deliver strong financial performance. The filing, accession number 0001104659-26-123608, indicates a positive outlook for the company as it strengthens its operational capabilities and capital structure.
Looking ahead, the company is expected to continue focusing on strategic investments and maintaining its competitive edge within the wholesale petroleum industry. As competitors also adapt to these market dynamics, Global Partners’ results may set a benchmark for performance in the sector.
