Loss and time reimbursement share one limit

The Docketwise data settlement lists October 15, 2026 for benefit claims, with online submissions through 11:59 p.m. Eastern time or timely mailed postmarks. Eligible members should check the incident notice and class terms, not assume every immigration-law client is included.

The reimbursement route combines qualifying out-of-pocket losses and lost time within an aggregate $5,000 per-person cap. The alternative cash payment is $50 in lieu of those reimbursements. It does not add $50 to the maximum loss-and-time amount.

Online filing has a stated Eastern cutoff

The FAQ also describes monitoring that may accompany the selected cash route. Follow the actual claim form and required records for losses or time. A monitoring enrollment benefit and an insurance coverage limit are not money distributed to the claimant.

Exclusion and objections closed September 15, and approval is scheduled October 19. The defendants dispute the claims. Preserve notice and submission confirmation; a deadline gives a participation window, not a guarantee of immediate cash or compensation for every asserted expense.
