The Dartmouth notice is the class test

The Dartmouth component of the Oracle data-breach litigation has an October 21 claim deadline. The administrator describes an incident involving Oracle EBS and notices Dartmouth sent in November 2025. The class covers living United States residents sent a Dartmouth notice that their private information may have been affected.

That definition does not cover every student, alumnus or user of Oracle software. Dartmouth is one defendant among other Oracle EBS customers in the larger litigation. Use the specific case notice and administrator rather than assuming another organization's Oracle incident proves membership here.

An earlier deadline affects legal options

The administrator describes documented out-of-pocket losses of up to $5,000 and an estimated $75 pro-rata cash route, plus two years of credit monitoring. Amounts can change with valid claims, costs and allocation rules. Self-certifications alone are not the reasonable documentation required for the loss route.

Online claims are due October 21 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time; mailed claims must be postmarked by that date. Exclusion and objection deadlines are earlier, October 6, while final approval is scheduled for November 5. Dartmouth denies wrongdoing, and submission alone does not establish an immediate payment. Keep the notice and evidence and check the current instructions before the relevant deadline.
