The job application, not employment, defines this class

Cosco Fire Protection’s settlement administrator lists October 23, 2026 for payment-detail changes, exclusions and objections. The $332,000 proposal concerns Washington job advertisements allegedly missing wage information. Cosco disputes the claims; the court has not decided liability.

The class covers people who applied for a Washington-based opening from January 1, 2023 through July 26, 2025 through Cosco’s website or its authorized Indeed recruiting channel where the posting omitted a wage scale or salary range. Working at Cosco is not the eligibility test, and a different employer’s posting does not qualify.

Automatic payment still needs a usable address

The administrator tells included applicants to ensure it has a valid current mailing address. Personalized notices contain a LoginID and PIN for changing payment preferences. That is different from an open application for every person who saw an advertisement.

The final hearing is scheduled December 18. No settlement benefits are provided unless approval becomes final. Use the notice instructions for the October 23 choices, keep any confirmation and do not treat the gross common fund as an amount payable to each applicant.
