The July 2023 incident defines the class

The Bradford-Scott Data settlement accepts claims online or by mailing postmark through October 7, 2026. The case concerns a July 2023 incident at the Sharetec vendor. The class includes affected people and those sent the vendor incident notice, not every member of every credit union.

The fund is approximately $2.39 million before approved fees, administration and awards. The FAQ estimates a proportional cash amount of $100 that can be larger or smaller. It separately describes documented unreimbursed monetary losses up to $5,000 with incident and time-period conditions.

Proof requirements differ across cash routes

The settlement also offers three years of financial monitoring with stated insurance and monitoring services. A monitoring insurance limit is not a cash payment, and enrollment does not establish that a claim for identity-fraud losses will be approved. Check the actual form choices before assuming benefits stack.

Exclusion and objection deadlines passed September 7, with final approval scheduled October 15. Defendants deny wrongdoing. Preserve qualifying records and use the official administrator; completing a form does not mean the estimated payment is guaranteed or already issued.
