The current administrator posts an extended deadline

The NY Alba Settlement administrator prominently states that the claim deadline has been extended to October 31, 2026. The New York attorney general secured a $1.4 million worker restitution fund involving Alba Services, Andrew Horan and related New York City construction and demolition companies.

Eligible categories include workers injured on the job during 2016 through 2024 who reported the injury to Alba, and workers sexually harassed on the job during 2016 through 2025. General employment in construction or an injury at another company does not establish inclusion.

This fund is not for every construction worker

The attorney general says its investigation found interference with workers’ compensation rights, punishment of injured workers who filed claims and workplace harassment. Current-worker protections include injury reporting, nonretaliation, training and monitoring. Those requirements are separate from an individual restitution claim.

Atticus Administration manages notices, claim forms and payments. Complete the online or mailed claim under its October 31 instructions and keep confirmation. The administrator describes a larger overall settlement, while the agency page identifies $1.4 million for workers. Neither headline means $1.4 million per worker or a fixed personal award.
