Small toys can contain a serious ingestion hazard
ABC Trading recalled about 37,000 Squishy Dumpling and Crazy Squib Ball toys on October 1, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The water beads inside can expand beyond the permitted size and pose ingestion, choking and intestinal-obstruction hazards. No incidents or injuries were reported in the notice.
The squishy dumplings are model 3655 and come in translucent colors with glitter and water beads, in a tan steamer-shaped container. The crazy squib balls are model 3984, individually wrapped in white netting. Use the official product and packaging photos to identify the recalled toys; our illustration is conceptual.
Follow the photo instructions before disposal
Consumers should stop using the toys immediately and contact ABC Trading for a full refund. The notice says to mark the toy RECALLED with permanent marker, throw it away and email a photo of the disposed toy. Read that sequence before discarding it without the evidence needed for a refund.
The toys were sold at ABC Trading stores in Los Angeles and other stores nationwide from April through June 2026 for roughly 41 cents to $1.25. Their low price does not measure their risk. Keep them away from children while carrying out the remedy and use the CPSC-listed contact and images, rather than an unrelated refund form.
