Bitzero Holdings Inc. has announced a significant partnership with Skanska for the development of its flagship data center in Norway. This collaboration is expected to enhance Bitzero's project delivery capabilities and improve its competitive positioning in the finance services sector.
Founded and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Bitzero Holdings Inc. specializes in IT energy infrastructure and high-efficiency power for data centers. The company focuses on data center development, high-performance computing, and strategic hosting partnerships. Bitzero operates four data center locations across North America and the Nordic regions, emphasizing low-carbon energy sources.
The recent filing on October 20, 2026, reveals that Bitzero has entered into a project development agreement with Skanska, one of the largest construction firms in the region. According to the filing, this agreement brings institutional-caliber construction expertise to the project, which is critical as Bitzero prepares its Norway site for tenant readiness.
"With demand for Nordic capacity growing, we are positioning the Norway site for competitive and high-quality delivery," said Bitzero Founder & CEO, Mohammed Bakhashwain.
Skanska will collaborate with Vertiv, another partner, to provide a full scope of project delivery services, including engineering, design, procurement, construction, and systems integration. This partnership aims to create an investment-grade ecosystem for the Norway site, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected by hyperscale and enterprise tenants.
The agreement with Skanska follows several operational milestones at the Norway site, including the completion of initial civil works. Bitzero is set to receive long-lead power items shortly, further advancing its project timeline.
As Bitzero moves forward with its plans, the company intends to provide updates on procurement, development, and leasing activities across its Nordic sites. The engagement of Skanska and Vertiv reflects Bitzero's commitment to assembling a robust delivery ecosystem capable of meeting the demands of its clients.
This partnership not only strengthens Bitzero's position in the data center market but also highlights the growing importance of reliable infrastructure in the finance services sector, particularly in regions like Norway where demand is surging.
As the project progresses, stakeholders will be watching closely to see how this collaboration impacts Bitzero's operational capabilities and market presence.
